Martin's top model at the time. This one has been nicely refinished, the neck has been narrowed; NY repairman Steve Kovacik has done a wonderful repair. Here's his description: "The fretboard was replaced in my shop and in the process most of the width restored (1 13/16" finished nut width). The binding, like the fretboard, is new but it is not wider or thicker than standard. The taper of the board isn't what it originally would have been as the previous neck narrowing work altered the taper irrevocably. But considering what had been done previously the end result was quite good.
The bridge is not original to the guitar, but it is not "new". It is an original 20s era bridge that was salvaged from another Martin that was beyond repair."
