The nicest Martin since the 30's, at least was until the OM-28 Authentic 1931 came along! Based upon an extremely rare and wonderful 1921 000-28K from the Martin Museum, this slotted head 12-fret is a completely faithful recreation of the original, featuring flamed Hawaiian koa top, back and sides, hide glue construction and a hand shaped neck without a truss rod. Martin's new Vintage Tone System (VTS) is employed for the bracing.
This one has gorgeous flamed koa, is a complete feather-weight, and as close as Martin has come to regaining it's amazing pre-war heritage. And, it as good sounding all-koa guitar as you'll find. It's slightly pre-owned and has a Baggs I-Beam pickup installed.
