A late example of an early Gibson flattop, all mahogany, light as a feather, with their A-bracing, two-layer bridge and 24 1/4" scale length. It's the smaller body, 13 5/8" wide at the lower bout, but certainly not the smaller sound. This box speaks: loudly, but also sweetly. This same year is when Gibson switched this body to the larger 14 3/4" L-00 and L-2 body. This example is in beautiful condition and very nicely set up. It appears to be all original except possibly for a replaced bridge.
