A stunningly gorgeous, almost Immaculate example, fully original and untouched. Extremely light-weight, with the war-years' ebony bar in the neck and plastic tuner buttons; the Brazilian rosewood is intense, the Adirondack top has possibly the tightest grain I've seen. This guitar just glows! 1945 was the last year for Adirondack spruce and tapered braces, a combination that has great appeal among players looking for more projection and punch, while still keeping a good deal of the rich fullness of the earlier pre-war Martins.
