Another conversion that makes sense; the idea tickles me. The L-30 of this period has the body of a maple L-00 with a lesser quality arched top. Putting a flatop on it makes a lot of sense. We've been thrilling to the sound of maple lately, including an extremely rare maple L-00 from 1932; the world needs more of these!
This one was retopped by Aaron Cowles, with a new Sitka spruce top and a lovely sunburst finish. The neck is original, unchanged, with a super comfordable deepish V, and an LR Baggs Lyric pickup has been installed.
