A long-held dream - a solid body with string spacing of 1 3/4" x 2 5/16", finally brought to fruition and much more by the amazing Mark Grant. I am biased but I think it sounds incredible. The entire instrument is handmade by Mark; he makes the bridge from cold rolled steel and electroplates it with nickel, the pickups are completely handmade by him from Cocobolo and Koa, handwound to perfection. Spruce top, Swamp Ash body, celluloid tort binding, Wenge/Birdseye maple/ebony accents in the neck with a Cocobolo fretboard, Jescar Evo fretwire impecibly installed and finished, razor thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a recipe from the 50's that dries super hard. It's a super resonant instrument unplugged. All the early OM specs from scale length, string spacing to neck carve. These days, there are a lot of fingerstyle players playing solid bodies, and I would highly recommend trying out this incredible guitar with the 2 5/16" bridge spacing.
