Converted from Hawaiian lap style, thus has a 12 fret neck, no truss rod and a rather large (1 15/16" wide with deep V) neck shape. The conversion is first class, with new frets, neck reset, super action and an unusually alive and sweet tone. Gibson's change from 12 to 14 fret necks happened without changing the body shape, unlike Martin, thus putting the bridge lower towards the center of the lower bout. This gives a warmer, deeper tone that is quite pleasing. Condition is excellent with plenty of the typical Gibson finish crazing and some play wear.
