These were quite popular since we keep seeing them all over the place. This one is from later in their run judging from the slot head instead of the more common Pearloid covered solid one. It's an archtop, propabably solid spruce with a maple or birch back and sides. The bridge has been replaced with an adjustable, though the original bridge is still with it. It is a successful swing style rhythm and lead instrument, likes a strong touch, is quite loud and punchy.
