A great example of this iconic model; back and sides are Brazilian rosewood, '69 being the last year of availability for this famous and beautiful wood. The three-piece back of the new designation of "35" was added to the catalogue in order to use the remaining smaller pieces of Brazilian. This one is surprisingly great sounding and in excellent condition. The neck was reset in '97 and its action is very low. There is a repaired crack and a touched up small ding in the back, it's been played a lot, evidenced by the worn finish on the neck - I love the feel of a neck that has been worn like this - and the guitar exhibits the rich, deep, open tone of being played a lot.
