Product Description
A fine sounding Tonk Bros. Regal-made 12-fret 0 sized "Inspiration" model, a lightly braced single-X box out of mahogany and spruce. It's a slot-head, all original except for perfect repro bridge with a slanted saddle (the original saddle was straight) in very good+ condition. There are two solidly repaired cracks: a small insignificant one in the back at the waist and a 5.5" one in the treble side next to the heel. It's missing the original floating pickguard with a lighter area in the the finish underneath, and a small area of finish touch-up next to the treble wing of the bridge. I believe it's had a first-class neck reset with a wedge added under the fingerboard extension, with the original bar frets, died fingerboard, and large neck typical of Regal in this period.
