Product Description
A fabulous, near perfect example, from early 1931, after the larger pickguard change but still with its original Grover banjo tuners. There are a few small scratches and other issues. Everything is original, with just a small flat brace between the fingerboard and the soundhole and a partial flat brace added under the fretboard extension, a part that is missing on original OMs, including its hard shell case. Tonally, this guitar is a sleeping giant, just needs a prince or princess to come along and wake it up; it won't take much, since it already sounds fantastic, very powerful and deep. Update: It's being played a lot and also Tone-Rited (I call it the guitar orgasmatron) and it is turning into one of the truly great OMs.
