The 000 14-fret herringbone, the 000 version of the HD-28, this one has a very nice sunburst top finish with gold-plated Gotoh Mini tuners with ebony buttons. It's in fabulous condition with just two small dents in the top and otherwise excellent+. Woods are Indian rosewood and Sitka with Herringbone trim. The model differs from the Clapton 000 primarily in the style of neck, with the EC replicating the 1938 000 that has the 1 ¾" nut and "V" shape, while this one is based on the next iteration with 1 11/16" nut and 2 1/8" spacing at the bridge. It also has a more modern thin "C" shape. Both have scalloped braces and short scale. Tonewise, this is a surprisingly rich and deep and full instrument, quite responsive and open due to the salloped braces and Martin's aim of going back to their earlier, lighter specs.
