All koa, with an AAAA Grade koa top that is stunning. The actual name of this model is "12 Fret OM" which drives me crazy; it makes no sense, since "OM" literally means 14 frets. Despite my little curmudgeon-ness, this is one hell of a special guitar. It's physical beauty is matched by a unique, special tone: there's a wide open spatial quality as well as a rich vintage feel. I'm particularly enamored of the neck shape, which is very close to my ideal, the 1929-1931 Martin OM shape. The wider neck disappears with this shape while still allowing all that wonderful extra room for fingers.
