Product Description
Early Dell'Artes were handmade by Luis Sevillano (it was his nineteenth Dell'Arte), and are considered to be excellent quality. This one is the Maccaferri Grande Bouche model, a copy of Mario's original cutaway design of 1932 with the D hole. Woods are solid rosewood and spruce, with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard and bridge. The neck is an accurate repro of the Selmer neck, a wide classical style - Mario Maccaferri was a concert quality classical guitasrist - and the tone is rich, deep, and quite loud.
