Product Description
From our shop in Littleton, MA, built in January 1998 by John Slobod, out of Adirondack spruce and East Indian rosewood. The Schoenberg 12-fret 000 cutaways have been stars of the line until the Quartet, which is basically a larger version, came out. The 12-fret 000 body is a powerhouse while still retaining its small body qualities, always a good one for luthiers to do because it's next to impossible to fail. This one is in almost perfect condition, has our standard pyramid bridge, ivoroid binding and low key but tasteful adornments. It's in perfect condition except for one ding in the top caused by a toddler drop. We filled the ding and now it's close to invisible. The tone is a mix of sweetness, rich warmth and a gorgeous singing fat/bright treble. It truly doesn't get much better!
