A great example of the current trend of restoring and upgrading these old inexpensive brands. This one was probably made by the United Guitar Company of Jersey City NJ. The restoration incuded a neck reset, new fingerboard and rebraced top. The 12-fret neck is wide, there's plenty of saddle, construction seems very solid, and the tone is amazing considering its humble beginings.
