Scott Nygaard's much played and loved Adirondack spruce and cocobolo dreadnaught, purchased from Dana Bourgeois at the 2004 NAAM show - Dana always brings his best guitars to the NAAM shows. Scott tells the story on the included Peghead Nation video. This combination of two power tonewoods results in a guitar with great volume and projection, and then when you add in the super light scalloped bracing, you get, an instrument that excels in many ways, that is as Scott says in the video, is balanced, very rich, great for backup, for lead, a great, great dreadnaught. Scott's LR Baggs Anthem dual source pickup is installed.
