A fascinating redo of a very rare (only two made) Nick Lucas Deluxe that was made for Nick Lucas around 1940. This appears to be a redo. The shared characterisics of these are: the early pre-1930 Gibson figure-8 shape deep body, the modern full scale length, fourteen frets and X-bracing and, black finish and the deep body. Our Flammang, made by David Flammang of Greene, Iowa, is a Honduran mahogany body with spruce top guitar with unique and beautiful inlays and half-herringbone purflings, in practically new condition.
